Strike rate in cricket is used to determine the rate at which a batsman scores. It is calculated in the following way:
Take the number of runs that the batsman has scored.
Take it divided by the total number of balls faced.
Multiply by 100 to get the answer.
Formula: ( Runs Scored/Balls Faced ) 100.
Example: 50 runs off 25 balls = (50/25) x 100 = 200 strike rate
It tells the rate of scoring, which is crucial in T20s and ODIs
